Ooooohhhhhhhh……

I really love a lot of Mighty Fine’s t-shirts, but as usual all the best shirts came in mens sizes only. In particular they have a shirt featuring Deadpool riding a pegasus with ‘Chimichanga’ emblazoned across the top, which I kind of feel like was a shirt created specifically for me.

I sent them an email letting them know in no uncertain terms that if that shirt were to be made available in a women’s size I would gladly give them all of my money. To my surprise their customer service emailed me back saying that they thought that could be arranged and to keep an eye on the site!

AND LOOK WHAT I WOKE UP TO FIND THIS MORNING!

I have handed over not all of my money, but some of it, and am now (im)patiently waiting for my shirt to arrive.

Folks, Mighty Fine is doing good work out there in the world and supports the cause of quality merch for girls. You should go check them out. Bless you Mighty Fine, you made my Thursday.

Sometimes you just get frustrated with the fact that there are no blingy Batman phone cases out there and just make one yourself. I think this turned out pretty well!

TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Shell Backpack With 4 Masks

I’m not sure if there are words to properly convey how much I need this backpack. I first noticed it in Jenna Marbles’ “Landshark” video (it’s at 1:50 if you just want to see the backpack/are not into Ms. Marbles’ sense of humour). At first I was like, “Hey that’s a really cool turtle backpack, you could totally pretend to be a ninja turtle with that thing on!” Then I Googled it. It’s officially licensed merchandise. And it comes with four eye masks so you and your friends can play ninja turtles with your awesome turtle backpacks.

Totally tubular! I call Mikey!

You see, TMNT is the first show I can remember being completely and utterly batshit-insane over. Me and my brother had crazy amounts of their action figures and merchandise. I played all of the video games. I can sing all of the ninja rap AND perform the choreography. I ate the TMNT shaped-pasta put out by Chef Boyardee. For me the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wasn’t just a TV show, it was a lifestyle.

Beyond ‘I NEED IT’, this backpack is also very well reviewed on Amazon. It is described as spacious, made from a very durable and waterproof material, and has lots of pockets and a laptop sleeve. Apparently it fits a 13” laptop very comfortably, and you can get a 15” in there but it’s a bit tight. The average rating is 4 and a half stars, and you should probably read this review.
